The Employers’ Organisation for Hairdressing, Cosmetology, and Beauty (EOHCB) is a long-standing and registered Employers’ Organisation under the Labour Relations Act, 66 of 1995, representing its members since 1947. We are proud to have recently celebrated our 75th anniversary, a testament to our commitment to enhancing the businesses of our esteemed members.
Our core purpose revolves around safeguarding and promoting the interests of our members through dedicated support and development in Collective Bargaining and Labour Relations. Serving as the sole Employers’ Organisation that participates in the National Bargaining Council for Hairdressing, Cosmetology, Beauty, and Skincare Industry, we take on the crucial role of collective bargaining on behalf of our members who are the rightful employers and proprietors of the industry. Upholding the principles of integrity, professionalism, and sound business practices, we continuously strive to offer our members a comprehensive suite of services and benefits that address their distinct needs.
A key aspect of our service involves representing employers in various forums, including the Bargaining Council and CCMA, where we engage in dispute resolution through conciliation and arbitration. Through meaningful consultation with the industry Trade Union, we negotiate conditions of employment and salaries on behalf of our members, ensuring their voices are heard and their interests protected.
We pride ourselves in the competence, experience, knowledge, and proficiency of our dedicated team of professionals. With a widespread presence throughout South Africa, we ensure our members are provided with excellent service and representation.
