HJ joined L'Oréal Professionnel Paris in Dublin, Ireland for the L'Oréal Colour Trophy Grand Final on Monday 17 June at Dublin Royal.
The evening kicked off with an introduction from L'Oréal Professionnel Paris, general manager UK and Ireland, Ann Marie Humphreys. She said: "L'Oréal Colour Trophy has been championing professional excellence and hair artistry for over five decades. It is the longest running live hair competition in the world."
This was followed by a catwalk of the Grand Finalists who had been competing all day in the RDS, Dublin, before this year's judges Alan Edwards, Andrew Mulvenna, Darren Ambrose, Marcello Moccia and Nathan Walker, took to the stage.
We were treated to two shows by Jason Hall and Abigail Butler, and the Arkive by Adam Reed team respectively. Firstly, Mashup was supported by a team of L'Oréal Professionnel backstage artists. It was a cornucopia of throwback styles, all brought together by a soundtrack that moved seamlessly from 80s nostalgia to 00s hits. This was followed by fRAmEwoRk from L’Oréal Professionnel Editorial UK Ambassador Adam Reed and the ARKIVE by Adam Reed team Andrew Plester, Janet Barone, John Spanton, Luke Logan, Pia Wyatt and Samantha Bickle.
