Bio Sculpture

As a training-based system, Bio Sculpture endorses the highest standard globally and produces award winning nail technicians worldwide. Bio Sculpture’s certified training courses are internationally recognised within its brand systems.

Various online training and hands-on training options are available, such as refresher workshops to brush up on techniques and to stay up to date with latest trends and techniques.

The Nail Art Training Workshops help nail techs to master the latest looks and trends and reveal how to use Bio Sculpture’s wide range of nail art products.

E-file Training shows you how to use this time saving tool, while the Full Cover Tips Training is all about how to do nail extensions like a pro.

Bio Sculpture’s Conversion Training is structured for an experienced nail technician who desires brand training to use and purchase its professional gel products. Training modules offer each nail technician comprehensive training in natural nail care treatments as well as Spa product knowledge, Biogel and Evo product application, nail extensions, full cover tips and product removal.

Nailz

Lime Light/Hands Down offers training in gel nail overlays for beginners, brand conversion training as well as hand and foot ritual training, which includes gel overlay application with the brand.

Nailz is a cruelty-free, vegan gel polish range that offers a wide range of accessories and over 160 exciting gel colours and glitters. Its gel polish is richly pigmented, quick-drying and lasts up to four weeks without chipping. Streak-free application allows for flawless coverage every time.

The Nailz education team stresses the importance of training as achieving a high-quality result requires proper training in techniques such as nail preparation, gel application and curing times.

Safety is a key concern; improperly applied gel nail overlays and removal can lead to nail damage or even infections. By receiving proper training, nail technicians can ensure that they are providing safe services to their clients.

Providing high-quality gel nail overlay services can help establish a nail technician’s reputation and attract repeat business. Proper training can also help a technician differentiate themselves from competitors, who may not have the same level of expertise.

Clients who receive high-quality gel nail overlays are more likely to be satisfied with their service and recommend the technician to others.

CND

CND has a worldwide reputation for its excellent education programmes, with some of the most advanced, up to date, well equipped educational resources in the nail industry. Training is offered by extensively trained, knowledgeable and skilled Education Ambassadors, who are regularly kept up to date with the latest product innovations, techniques and skills.

Exclusive Beauty Solutions is the sole authorised distributor for CND in South Africa and offers a variety of education opportunities for nail professionals at any skill level, and through each step of their career path. Comprehensive training on all CND Nail Systems and products is offered, either for those who are just starting out, to skill building sessions for more skilled nail pros who want to upgrade and take their skills to the next level. Focused theory sessions inform you on everything you need to know, including the science and hands on sessions to practise and perfect your skills.

There are Certified Color courses in the application of Vinylux Long Wear Polish, SHELLAC Gel Polish, Nail Design, as well as courses in the CND Nail Enhancement systems, such as Plexigel and the CND Liquid & Powder Systems.

Attending training with the brand and system you are using and understanding the chemistry behind the products is vitally important to ensure proper and correct systems use. Also, never mix and match systems, it only leads to service breakdown, allergies, long term skin and nail damage, as well as many other complications.

Although CND has been educating nail professionals in the application of CND Shellac Gel Polish for a number of years now, the brand is currently running a Re-Certification program for all existing CND Shellac nail pros and salons. Email nails@exclusivebeauty.co.za

NSI

NSI as an international company that strongly believes in education. This ethos has filtered through to the Southern Africa market. The NSI team educates on the phone, ‘in house’, over Zoom and even at shows.

In addition to educating on the phone, ‘in house’, over Zoom and even at shows, the NSI South Africa team hosts several workshops nationally, demonstrating new products, application techniques and upskilling skills for everyone. NSI also teaches many up to date, trendy Nail Art Classes.

There are a variety of Nail Programs that are designed to help the ‘newbie’ from a foundation level. NSI hosts several programs to support them into their career as professionals and even experts.

Because not all nail systems are applied, set, or cure the same, NSI recommends a conversion program when interest is show in any of the brand’s Nail Systems. This will avoid any potential trouble areas and give the nail tech the time to understand (and feel comfortable with) the product, before using it on a client. Confidence in what you do, is key to success.

NSI’s national team of educators are carefully selected and passionate about helping nail techs to reach great heights. Follow @nsisouthafrica
