HOW THE BIO SCULPTURE JOURNEY BEGAN

Founded in 1988, Bio Scuplture’s purpose has always been to provide quality products and professional training, empowering nail technicians to offer healthy and fashionable nail care systems, guided by an ethical business approach.

The goal of the founder, Elmien Scholtz, was not only set on beautiful nails but also on nail health. By consulting with the best scientists in their respective fields and applying the latest technologies available, Bio Sculpture Gel was born from a humble beginning with passion, hard work and the faith of a true pioneer, and today it’s one of the leading nail care solutions on the market.

The warm-heartedness of Bio Sculpture is not only tangible in the factory but is extended to the global Bio Sculpture family. Elmien’s famous quote is: “Your hands are your calling card in life. Your nails are their focal point.”

Bio Sculpture is award-winning brand consists of six product lines, namely Biogel, Evo, Ethos, Gemini, Bi-Olygel and Spa. The company prides itself on its professionalism and its award-winning nail technicians worldwide.

The first gel created in SA

Biogel is the original, professional, soak-off, easy wear UV nail gel in a jar. This is the only gel worldwide that received a 5-star safety rating. The company also ensures, as one of the few brands, that professional training is undertaken to use its gel systems.

How did the challenges along the way make the brand stronger?

With an evolutionary product that has stood the test of time, Bio Sculpture strives to set itself apart, even after 35 years. The company makes sure it enhances the expertise of our people through periodic training.
