Why do colour trends matter?

Using its trendspotting methodology and visual search tools, Pinterest has identified these colours as the defining tones of 2025.

The Palette offers beauty professionals and creatives a glimpse into emerging trends, helping them to align with client preferences.

Last year’s Mocha Brown prediction proved accurate, influencing everything from nails to luxury fashion.

For 2025, colours like Butter Yellow and Cherry Red are already making in impact in the beauty industry.
