New general manager for Consumer Products Division of L’Oréal South Africa
Natasha Lopes is appointed as the general manager for the Consumer Products Division (CPD) in Southern Africa, following her tenure as the L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty (LDB) Division leader.
Under her leadership, the LDB Division experienced transformative growth, ascending from eighth place in the dermo cosmetics market in 2020 (with 4% market share) to a dominant leadership position in 2024 with a 31.5% market share, contributing an impressive aggregate of 62,3% of the market growth over four years.
Commenting on her new role, Natasha said, “The growth we’ve achieved reflects our commitment to meeting consumer needs with science-backed, dermatologist-recommended products. I am excited to bring this same level of passion and focus to the CPD as we navigate an evolving market landscape.”

Pinterest has revealed its 2025 Pinterest Palette, a curated selection of five trend-driven colours set to dominate the beauty, fashion and design industries this year.
From bold Cherry Red to dreamy Aura Indigo, the palette complements broader trends like Pantone’s Colour of the Year, Mocha Mousse, creating endless inspiration for beauty professionals.
2025 colour trends
The featured shades in the Pinterest Palette are Cherry Red, Butter Yellow, Aura Indigo, Dill Green and Alpine Oat.
These were identified through Pinterest’s platform data, capturing cultural movements and aesthetic shifts.
“The Pinterest Palette is inspired entirely by Pinners – what they’re searching, saving and shopping for on our platform. But it’s made for creatives like you,” said Xanthe Wells, VP of global creative at Pinterest.
“We can’t wait to see how these colours influence your work in 2025.”
The trends also draw inspiration from the wider Pinterest Predicts trends for 2025.
