Calling all nail artists, enthusiasts and anyone who loves a touch of glam! The 2025 Nail Competition promises to be an unforgettable event for both competitors and spectators alike. Mark your calendars for Sunday, 7 September 2025, because you won’t want to miss this riveting showdown at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit.

There is something for every nail enthusiast, with exciting new categories and thrilling challenges.

How to enter

We’ve made it easy for you to secure your spot:

1. Fill in the entry form: Download the rules and regulations, complete the entry form on page 1, and pay the category fee of R150 per category (you are welcome to compete in more than one category) via EFT using the provided banking details.

2. Online registration via ShowHub: Prefer a digital approach? Wait for Showhub to open for registrations (subscribe to our newsletter to be notified when Showhub opens). You’ll be able to register and pay your category fee online, hassle-free.

Choose your category

There are two types of categories you can select: Off-site categories - participants can compete from home; or On-site categories - participants can compete live at the show.

The competition categories and their start times are as follows:

Submission deadline: All Tip-box and NailFile Covers must be delivered to Professional Beauty offices (check the rules and regulations for address details) by Noon 5 September 2025

OR Personally handed in at the competition floor on 7 September 2025 between 08:00-10:00

On-site categories -7 September 2025 New category: Style your tips

• Start time: 8:30 AM

• Description: This exciting new challenge requires contestants to design a set of ten press-on tips, tailored to a client brief revealed on the day of the show during the organizer’s briefing. Bring your creativity and adaptability to this unique challenge!

Master sculptor (acrylic and gel)

• Start time: 8:45 AM

• Description: For those who excel in sculpting and shaping, this category will put your acrylic and gel mastery to the test.

Gel polish creation

• Start time: 12:15 PM

• Description: Show off your precision and artistic flair by creating stunning designs using gel polish.

Note: Awards for all categories will take place on 7 September at 16:00 at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit and International Convention Center – all competitors are required to attend unless otherwise communicated with the Professional Beauty Team!
