BEAUTY BUSINESS Our 20th anniversary show success
On September 8 and 9, Professional Beauty welcomed 6,345 visitors to the stunning new venue at Kyalami Grand Prix and International Convention Centre. As the biggest professional trade exhibition for the beauty and spa industry in South Africa, visitors were treated to the exhibition, educational stages, live demonstrations, goodie bags, competitions and product launches.
Exhibitors and visitors enjoyed the spacious venue, with open roof-to-floor windows providing brilliant lighting. The exhibition held several concurrent educational stages and events:
• The advanced skincare stage saw where innovative live demonstrations from Standard Beauty, Vagheggi, Sheida Beauty and Isa Carstens took place. These were supplemented by presentations by upcoming brands and product launches. We extend our special gratitude to Sheida Beauty and Vagheggi for their sponsorship of the stage goodie bags.
• The business seminars had a host of industry experts sharing their expertise and their business acumen. We are thrilled to have hosted a platform of great minds and offer visitors an opportunity to network with likeminded beauty business professionals.
• The Third SAAHSP Convention was graced by Buti Manemela, deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training and other industry delegates.
• The annual Spa Convention running under the theme Nexus connecting minds and opportunities was a resounding success. With keynote speaker Marc Wachsberger, the chief executive officer and founder of The Capital Hotel Group, delivering an insightful session.
