Ethereal flower
Step 1
Apply a base layer followed by two thin coats of a sheer pink. (For this look I used EVO Anthea). Cure each layer. Do not cleanse after curing.
Step 2
Apply a thin layer of a clear gel (I used Soft Gel from Bio Sculpture) and cure. Select a loose glitter and using a Glitter Brush, apply the glitter at the cuticle outline, to the cured layer of colour gel. Use the brush to fade the glitter down the nail. Ensure that you have good coverage at the cuticle area.
Step 3
Apply another thin layer of a clear gel to secure the glitter and cure
Step 4
For the flower, apply a little white gel on a metal plate or a piece of foil. (To create the flower, I used Whitney from EVO and the Nail Art Brush.) Brush through the white gel, making sure that there is enough gel on the brush. Now you can apply four or six petals. Create the petals from the outside, working towards the centre. With light pressure, drag the brush inwards and then use softer pressure to complete the petal. Repeat and create each petal until the desired effect is achieved.
Step 5
Repeat Step 4 by creating smaller petals between the larger petals you applied in the previous step. Cure.
Step 6
Mix a little glitter with a clear gel to add detail to the inside of the flower. Cure.
Step 7
Finish with a layer of top coat to achieve a high gloss shine. (I used EVO Gloss Top Coat.) Cure and cleanse.
