Geometric florals
Award-winning nail artist, educator and distributor Katia Da Silver is the creator of this stunning set
Step 1
The geometric shapes were hand painted and marked out with NSI’s pigmented Cream Gel pallets, using a Trinkets Fine Line S brush and then cured with a Gel Lamp. This helps the colours look crisper next to each other.
Step 2
The spaces were then filled in with the Cream Gels using a Trinkets Petite Oval brush. If two coats are needed, apply accordingly, curing between each layer in a gel lamp.
Step 3
After sealing and gently buffing the surface to make it matt, leaf shapes were painted using Trinkets Transfer Foil gel and then cured in a gel lamp
Step 4
Using Trinkets Gold Transfer foil, press, hold and gently rub the transfer foil over the cured leaf patterns on the nail and remove with a quick pull. Using NSI’s pigmented, non-tack, black Tech Gel and Trinkets Fine Line S brush, thin stalks from the leaves were hand painted and then cured in a gel lamp.
Step 5
After sealing the foil gel again and curing, gently buff the surface with a soft grit sponge and paint leaf patterns with NSI Cream Gels and Trinkets Petite Oval Brush. Two colours were used to create dimension and character. Cure in a gel lamp.
Step 6
Thin black lines were painted as stalks with NSI’s Tech gel and cured in a lamp. The design was finished with a high gloss Seal or Glaze n Go and cured.
