Refining the silhouette

Body sculpting, also known as body contouring, refers to topical and device-based in-salon treatments designed to change areas of the body, most typically the waist, stomach thighs, butt and underarms, by reducing small areas of fat and/or cellulite

Patricia Clarke

The Patricia Clarke Body Wrap technique has been trusted for over three decades. It utilises neoprene body wrap bandages and a potent contouring gel that boasts 16 active ingredients. The technique promotes centimetre loss, firming, detoxification and helps to improve the appearance of cellulite.

This system focuses on natural methods and encourages the adoption of healthy lifestyle habits. The wraps and contouring gel stimulate blood circulation and lymphatic drainage to eliminate excess fluids and toxins. The technique is known for its commitment to holistic wellness and carefully selected ingredients.

The newly launched Body Polish with AHAs enhances the effectiveness of the technique and works hand in hand with the contouring gel. It stimulates circulation and breaks down cellulite deposits over time. The Patricia Clarke Body Wrap technique and home care range aligns with the trend towards holistic wellness. It provides a trusted and effective solution for achieving body goals while promoting overall well-being.

Thalgo

Thalgo’s High-Performance Firming Cream harnesses the power of Sculpt Active technology to revitalise the skin and sculpt a harmonious figure that exudes confidence.

Enriched with retexturising and firming ingredients, this cream combats the signs of skin slackening and works to redefine the contours. Skin will not only be smoother but also firmer and more toned.

The forumulation combines the potency of the Thalgo Marine Silicium Complex with a cutting-edge Plankton Extract. This dynamic duo corrects the factors contributing to loss of firmness, while also helping to deter the expansion of unwanted fat.

A survey of users of the cream revealed the following responses: ‘Smoother skin’ – 95% of users*; ‘Firmer, more toned skin’ – 90% of users*; ‘Firmer buttocks and thighs’ – 86% of users*; and ‘More harmonious figure’ – 86% of users*. *(Self-assessment, percentage of volunteers agreeing with the claim)

Sprezzatura

Clinically proven Cellucut™ with natural ingredients is the solution those wanting to opt out of invasive treatments.

Say the Sprezzatura team: “There are two causes of cellulite, the first being the accumulation of fat in connective tissue. Secondly, cellulite is the result of the loss of elasticity of the connective fibres located in the subcutaneous tissue below the skin’s surface.”

The Sprezzatura Therapy Target is to improve the synthesis and regulation of enzymes responsible for managing oxidative stress in key areas. This, in turn, helps with fat cell metabolism and shrinkage of the fat cell mass. It also aids in maintaining a healthy state of the fibrous connective tissue, allowing it to stretch and flex.

Anesi Lab

From Anesi Lab, the Silhouette Slim & Go Roll-On is a dual-action slimming lotion with a massage roller.

This thermo-active treatment is formulated with stimulating actives to improve circulation, help reduce fatty areas and combat cellulite, visibly reducing orange-peel skin. Its massageroller head activates peripheral circulation to improve drainage and skin tone.

Key ingredients include the combination of a thermoactive with guarana and caffeine, which work together to increase local temperature and improve lymphatic drainage to help eliminate fluid retention, resulting in smoother, firmer skin.

Cryotec

Say the experts at Cryotec, “Reducing fat is not the same as losing weight. It’s about what happens to fat cells – the number of fat cells in our bodies typically becomes a fixed number in our teenage years. When we diet, and as a result achieve weight loss, the fat cells become smaller but the number of fat cells remains the same. When we gain weight, the fat cells grow in size only.”

The Cryotec Fat Freeze uses a technique cryolipolysis (fat freezing) technology to reduce the number of fat cells in treated areas by approximately 20 - 25%. After the procedure these fat cells are then naturally processed and eliminated by the body.

This device has 4 handles that can work at the same time, so you can treat several treatment areas simultaneously on one client, or you can treat 2 clients at the same time. With super water, air, and semi-conductor cooling, the machine can continuously work for at least 24 hours; making it highly profitable for the high work of spas, salons, and clinics.

The estimate procedure time is between 40 and 60 minutes per application. In terms of downtime, the client can expect sensitivity and slight numbness for up to 7 days. Recommended number of treatments is between 3 and 6, with visible results after 3 to 4 weeks.

Onda Pro

Deka’s Onda is positioned as an evolution in noninvasive, non-surgical body contouring for all skin types. The Onda Pro Microwave treatment is a turning point in the body contouring market.

Three Onda Pro handpieces are specifically designed to emit Coolwaves® in a controlled way. With the novel PGW Technology, the energy focuses only where it is needed, and the surrounding tissue is totally preserved.

The choice between 3 handpieces enhances the performance of Onda Pro. Different penetration depths of 3mm (Pocket), 7mm (Shallow) & 12mm (Deep) are each designed for different areas and applications.

Deep and Shallow focus on the body. Shallow is best for cellulite, skin tightening and face fat reduction, whilst Deep is the best for localized fat. The new Pocket handpiece extends the use of Coolwaves® to the face and neck area. Pocket is ergonomically designed to optimise efficacy in face areas and its 3mm penetration depth effects a specific facial tightening and lifting. It also reduces submental fat. The result is a complete lifting effect, brightening, and smoothness of face skin.

In terms of technology, as well as Coolwaves®, Onda Pro is equipped with PGW Technology (Precision-GigaWave Technology). Coolwaves® utilises special and safe microwaves (2.45GHz) for the treatment of localised adiposities, cellulite and skin laxity all over the body, in particular on the abdomen, thighs and hips. At such a high frequency, skin tissue is ‘transparent’ to the passage of the energy that is mainly found over the subdermal fat layer. This preserves the superficial layers of the dermis from unwanted heating whilst dissolving fat, tightening and contouring the skin, and firming up tissues.

The new PGW Technology ensures that microwave energy is delivered to the target in an even more precise and selective manner. Energy is now more precisely confined, causing different effects in selected areas at different penetration depths. This precise action onto both collagen fibres and fat cells, make a precise and unique face and body remodelling possible.
